Darren's Review
With lavish tales of fantastical Gods and monsters, mythology has always been prime cinematic material. It's only recently however, that we've had the technology to replicate mythological tales on screen with an element of authenticity. The wonderful stop-motion of Ray Harryhausen, in films like Clash of the Titans and Jason and the argonauts, was the only style that could previously give a sense of the otherworldly to legendary Greek mythological stories.
